Welcome to Naracoorte Fire & Rescue the official Web site of the Naracoorte Country Fire Service Brigade.

The Naracoorte CFS Brigade provides around the clock fire protection and hazardous materials response to the township of Naracoorte and it's surrounding districts as well as specialist emergency salvage and rescue services to the heart of the Limestone Coast and surrounding areas, and is staffed 365 days of the year entirely by highly skilled and trained volunteer members of the South Australian Country Fire Service.

Naracoorte CFS Brigade Fire Fighters are trained in all aspects of Urban and Rural fire fighting, as well as having advanced technical training to respond to a diverse range of specialist incidents such as Hazardous Materials, Vehicle Accident Rescue, Cave Search and Rescue, Extreme Weather Events and many others. In addition operational support is provided by our Auxillary and Cadet Members who are trained and skilled in many areas including Communications, Map Reading, and Safe Food Handling.

The Naracoorte CFS Brigade operates from a modern, well equipped Fire Station based in Smith Street, in the center of the township of Naracoorte, a vibrant service town located on the Riddoch highway, approximately 400 km South East of Adelaide, 100 km North of Mount Gambier, and 15 km West of the Victorian border in the Limestone Coast region of South Eastern South Australia.

Naracoorte abounds with both history and charm and is home to the World Heritage Listed Naracoorte Caves, a place where the past meets the present, where you can see intricate cave decorations thousands of years in the making and the fossil remains of creatures of long ago. Being situated in the Heart Of The Limestone Coast, Naracoorte is ideally central to the premium wine producing regions of Coonawarra and Padthaway, as well as the popular coastal towns of Kingston SE, Robe, and Beachport and only 1 hour from Mount Gambier's Blue Lake.
